In 2024, premiership players Thomas Wilson and Henry Shiell launched Peak Rugby Academy, Hong Kong’s first private rugby coaching company. Dedicated to fostering talent, they help players from all clubs enhance their skills while enjoying the game. With a friendly approach and a commitment to excellence, Peak Rugby Academy creates a supportive environment where every player can thrive!

Peak Rugby Academy has an extremely high level of coaches. All of our coaches are World Rugby Qualified and still play at the highest level of Rugby in Hong Kong. With many having represented their countries at the national level.

    Thomas Wilson

    Tom is a head coach and co-founder of Peak Rugby Academy.

    Tom currently plays for Hong Kong Scottish in the men’s premiership and has previously been involved in the Scotland 7s set up.

    As well as being a distinguished player in Hong Kong he is also a World Rugby Qualified Coach with years of coaching experience abroad and in Hong Kong. He brings a wealth of coaching and playing experience to our Academy.

    Henry Shiell

    Henry is a head coach and co-founder of Peak Rugby Academy.

    Henry plays for Societe Generale Valley in the men’s premiership and has been involved in national youth programs back in the England in the past.

    As well as playing his trade in the Hong Kong premiership, Henry is a World Rugby Level 3 Qualified Coach and Coach Educator.

    Henry is also the Director of Rugby for Valley Fort RFC in Hong Kong.
